Lidia Castoldi was born in Milan in 1973. She graduated in industrial chemistry from the University of Milan, Italy in 1998.
She got her post-degree master’s in polymers science in 2001 and a Ph.D. degree in industrial chemistry and chemical engineering in May 2004 at Politecnico of Milan, discussing a dissertation entitled ‘Pt-Ba/Al2O3 NOx storage-reduction catalysts: characterization and activity.’
Since 2005, she holds an academic position as assistant professor on catalysis and chemical reaction engineering topics in industrial chemistry at Politecnico of Milan, Italy.
In 2015, she became associate professor in the department of energy at Politecnico of Milan, Italy.
Since 2012, she is a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Catalysts (Hindawi Publishing Corporation).
She is the author of more than 50 publications on international scientific journals (ISI/Scopus) and of several communications at congresses. According to the ISI Web of Science and Scopus database, her h-index is 22.
