General Safety Regulation Manager @ Groupe Renault
Born in Paris in March 1962, François Boulay graduated from Ecole Centrale de Nantes. He joined Renault Group in 1987 and began his career with the responsibility of seats and body equipment development. The innovations on seats that where developed at that time gave a competitive advantage to Renault brand. After a transition to a Project team from 2003 to 2009 he joined the Regulation department of Renault, in charge of monitoring the General Safety Regulations developed in Geneva. Since 2014 he is the spokesman of OICA (Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles) at GRSG group and participated in several working groups aiming at introducing technical innovations into regulation.
