J.J.H. Paulides received the M.Phil. and Ph.D. from The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K., in -00 and ’05, respectively. Since ’05, he was a Research Associate and since ’09 a part-time assistant professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands.
Within this context, a suspension system SME has been established that is ready to deliver prototype/demonstration electromagnetic suspension systems to OEMs or any other interested company. Simultaneously he is the CEO of the AE-group (www.ae-grp.nl) an electric drive incubator (prototyping and series manufacturing) within the Netherlands. His research activities span all facets of low frequency electromagnetic computation. As such, he specializes in analytical and multi-disciplinary research to design new electrical devices for various applications with particular emphasis on how these devices enable sustainability and their uniqueness in terms of multi-disciplinary research. He is an author/co-author of more than 150 international publications, 8 patents, IEEE editor for INTERMAG and a program member/session organizer of various conferences related to electromagnetism and more-electric applications.
